Touchmate TM-M800 — some phones are diamonds, some phones are stones
Posted March 23rd, 2007 in Mobile Phones
Oh noes, here goes another bling-bling luxury phone. Touchmate TM-M800 is hotter than any desert, the phone has an etched floral pattern on the back and a Swarovski Crystal, plum above the center of the screen. It features a 1.3 MP camera, a TFT color display, USB support, 128MB of memory, and can play MP3 and MP4 files for a media player feature. But according to the Touchmate guys, it’s “the world’s smallest mobile phone (1.2 inches by 3.5 inches) with built-in MP3, MP4, camera and diamonds”. Yeah, diamonds, for sure.
The Touchmate TM-M800 is gold for girls and the silver for boys. Male one is hotter, as for me.
Who’s Chinese? Lenovo’s new phone ET600 is.
Posted March 23rd, 2007 in Mobile Phones
A Chinese poverb says “anyone, who knows and speaks Chinese is a Chinese”. Lenovo announced a phone exclusively for the Chinese, and this one will run on the Windows Mobile 6 . They have named this one the ET600 and have packed in some nice features . It comes with a 128MB of usable memory and 64MB of main memory. Also, a 2 megapixel camera and a microSD expansion slot. Just that it’s a phone by Lenovo makes this one pretty interesting, and hey, it’s all in Chinese too! The phone comes with Bluetooth and also is a tri-band GSM phone but however has no sign of broadband or 802.11 WiFi.
That’s a gift for all the Chinese and Asians.
Cheap Chocolate by LG Chocolate Flip
Posted March 20th, 2007 in Mobile Phones
And we have the LG Chocolate Flip AX8600s to win the heart of the mellower ones. These come in three light colors that are more soothing and bright rather than sleek and steely. They come in blue, green, and beige. We can also find the similar electrostatic keys on the outside to control playback. But I guess it’s ok as the LG Chocolate Flip AX8600 costs just $50.
Pretty affordable for everyone and yet it looks dashing enough.

Nokia sues shops, but not the N73 clone manufacturer
Posted March 14th, 2007 in Mobile Phones
Pictured above is the infamous N73-clone, called Nokir E828, produced by a mainland Chinese company (NOKIR) next to the real Nokia N73 (on the right), it has been selling well enough to catch Nokia’s attention. However the company did not have enough evidence to go against the manufacturer and the copyright-protection laws are a bit tricky in mainland China, so instead they decided to bully the tiny tiny shops that are selling the Nokir E828 in Hong Kong. Those poor scapegoats are asked by the representing law firm to relinquish all the stock voluntarily and pay a HKD 30,000 ($3870) fine for the damage incurred. Most of those shops are only run by 1-2 people in a space no bigger than 25 squared feet in Mong Kok (a more ghetto part of Hong Kong). According to the shopkeepers, they’ve been trying to get in touch with Nokia as the deal is not fair, so far they have received no reply.
The Nokir E828 is a dualband GSM phone that houses a 2.6″ QVGA touchscreen and a 2 megapixels camera. MP3 and MP4 are supported and the memory expansion used is microSD. Being smaller and lighter than the N73 (110×55×14mm 105g), the E828 seems to have everything a fanboy would dream of, check out the $100 price tag, too: unbeatable. You’ll have to be very lucky to find any of these after this incident though.

What a girl want? What a girl need? A Sanyo A5525SA clamshell
Posted February 28th, 2007 in Mobile Phones
A5525SA by Sanyo is quite sweet candy phone. The clamshell is available in pink, yellow and blue colors.
It is preloaded with girlie programs like secret diary and a journal for keeping writing day to day events along with photographs. The phone features a 2.4 inch (240 x 320 pixel) internal display supporting 260k colors, 1 inch external color display, 30 MB internal memory, 1.3 Megapixel camera and a Micro SD card for memory expansion. And it is splashproof.
However the most interesting features is the Crime buzzer - all the girl has to do is pull a knob on the phone which activates a loud crime prevention buzzer! It is sure enough to scare the stalker or any pervert person. Simultaneously a Voice Call or Video Call will be automatically sent to the specified recipient of the child along with the child’s location information using the GPS. Nice job and good looking too.
