As I’m huge Hello Kiity fan, I’m going to get rid from dust in my buttons and dull-grey colors just for $30.

headset.jpgIt’s ok if sound waves from your headset are getting into your bones (wow, it really could be from placebo song). The HG40SAN-TBT from Temco - China is a headset that uses “bone conduction” technology. It is an audio and hands-free Bluetooth headset that does not have earpieces, but you can still hear sounds of music or talk with the vibrations emitted by the headset through your skull. The battery lasts 3 hours in conversation mode and 5 hours in play mode (MP3).

This iPod compatible, under-cabinet multimedia player has an 8.5-inch wide screen LCD display and can play audio and video from an iPod, DVD, (S) VCD, MP3-CD, CD (RW) and Picture CD. The system also supports a built-in ATSC/NTSC TV tuner, digital AM/FM tuner, two 2-inch speakers, cooking timer and clock, and wireless remote. Compatible with the fourth- and fifth-generation iPods, the iPod mini, and iPod nano, the media player is ready for shipping next week

Pricey at $400, the Philips DCD778 Docking Entertainment System will add that geeky touch to your kitchen.

creative-live-cam-optia-sm.jpgCreative are out with high end web cams. It comes with an exciting 2.0 megapixel lens and also has auto focus technology along with 30 fps in VGA resolution. It comes with dual microphones with noise reduction that isolates voice signals and minimizes background noise.

There’s also support for remote monitoring, image adjustments and image archiving and smart face tracking, a separate software package for video and voice effects along with support for video calls and mail. And pan and tilt (270 degrees) support.

The Creative Live! CamOptia will cost up to £80 ($154) and should be available by the start of April.

wep420.jpgSamsung Electronics showcased the high-class Bluetooth Headset ‘WEP 420’, designed by Bang & Olufsen, for the first time at CeBIT 2007 in Hanover, Germany. To offer simplistic design and usability, the Samsung WEP 420’s buttons are hidden behind a sliding cover. The special sliding cover blocks static to increase the overall sound quality. And WEP 420 comes packaged with a uniquely designed charger cradle that may be used as an interior decoration item. In addition, Samsung also showcased the newest Mini Bluetooth Headset, the WEP500. WEP 500 prides itself on an innovative design of round shapes and easy-to-use features.

The Samsung WEP 420 is available in March and WEP 500 will be launched within 2nd quarter 2007 in Europe and Asia.

commodoregaming.jpgCommodore announced a line of gaming PC’s at CeBIT. They are named as the Commodore «Extreme Level» XX, Commodore GX, Commodore GS and Commodore G.

The four gaming stations seem to be well prepared to hit the huge PC gaming fan base. These provide with storage of up to 750GB and between 2GB and 4GB of main memory. With processing powers ranging from 1.86GHz Core 2 Duo E6320 to a 2.66GHz QX6700 Core 2 Extreme CPU, these also provide with graphic enhancers ranging from a single NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GS all they way up to dual 8800 GTX cards. They run the 64-bit version of Windows Vista and feature new «Ice Cube» cooling components.

No details of pricing yet. The systems are likely to be on sale from April.

polk-midock10.jpgIt’s really been a while since we had a full fledged audio system to support your iPod playback, amplified. And here is new range of audio systems by Polk Audio. The MiDock10 comes with 3.25-inch full-range drivers and USB connectivity. One can synch iTunes into the iPod using this USB connectivity. It can be connected and run via power or batteries. The MiDock10 provides connectivity to all iPods. The MiDock Studio is a bit bigger that the MiDock10 and has dual 3.25-inch high excursion drivers. These drivers are vented via a side-firing flared port. The two-tone black grille/white body color scheme gives it a great get-up. It also has a USB connectivity and auxiliary input.

The MiDock10 costs $180 while the price of the MiDock Studio has yet to be announced.

lg1.jpgThis Chocolate system looks pretty neat. The sleek black exterior gives it an exquisite touch. A major feature of this system is that it can play back DivX over its HDMI or component connection. The LG Media Center comes in with powerful 75W speakers and a 150W subwoofer. It provides with USB connectivity so that you can backup and store stuff on its 80GB hard drive. However, Ethernet connectivity (to go with the USB) would be more welcome.

The LG J10HD Chocolate Media Center costs a £329 (~$636). And it will be available only in Europe, as of now. Quite overpriced, but a good fanservice, I should say.

energy.jpgSony Energy LINK USB portable power supply and adaptor comes with two AA rechargeable Cycle Energy batteries, which connects regular alkaline batteries and the NiMH rechargeable batteries. It fully charges in about 3 hours. The triple function of Sony USB portable power supply as a power adaptor, portable power supply and battery charger is the first of its kind to be combined into one device. The new power supply is compatible with most USB-compatible MP3 players, mobile phones and other USB-powered devices.

The Sony Energy LINK will be available early this summer for a price of about $35.
