hello_kitty_phone.jpg

And here is another Hello Kitty gadget of the day. This time it’s the Hello Kitty phone produced by OKWAP. It is currently available for the Taiwanese market. It plays music and videos, also features a 2 mega-pixel camera and it is customizable with pinkish themes.

Will be a perfect match to Hello Kitty camera. Yay. Next cool thing to the iPhone, I suppose. Unluckily, no information about it’s pricing and release on other markets is available.

Great noise reduction. Pantech’s KDDI A1407PT cellphone is available in Japan for $165.

In a move of utter stupidity T-Mobile launched a 3G handset today. For those of you that still don’t get wherein the stupidity lies, it would be in the fact that T-Mobile is not a 3G network.

The phone is nothing special, but its available in a few stores in NYC. What, or more specifically who, is special is whoever had the bright idea of releasing a 3G handset sans the whole 3G network thing.

iphonevsnewton.jpgHere is a side by side image of Apple’s iPhone and Newton devices. You might not realize it, but at one point, Newton was the top technological advancement of the day. And the difference in size, well, that just speaks for itself.

Compared to the iPhone, Newton looks like a prop from an Ed Wood movie. Or maybe even some biological diseased monster of some sort.

lg.jpgLG decided to show us the other side. The LG KS20 smartphone (sans Prada) has many features like 128MB memory, a 2.8″ 262k color touchscreen with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels, GPRS/EDGE/UMTS/HSDPA/HSUPA, a 2 megapixel camera with autofocus and flash, Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity, a microSD card slot, and an integrated FM tuner. Wow. I wish, half pf these romors would be true.

mrbl.jpgVirgin Mobile USA is ready to offer the MARBL flip phone by Kyocera Wireless. But the phone doesn’t have many features, not even a camera or MP3 player. But it’s og I guess for some people, who see phone as a phone, not as a multi-function device, that will make you coffee.

The Kyocera MARBL is available now for about $30. Quite fair.
